Victor joined the practice in 1953 and was admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland as an associate in 1961.

He became a partner in the practice with P O Diamond in 1961 and then took over the sole practitioner on the retirement of Mr Diamond 1968.

Victor was admitted as Fellow to the Institute in 1972 and finally retired from full time practice in March 2001, handing over the reins to his son Nigel.

Victor is married to Rae and has three children, Colin, Nigel and Alison and so far two grandchildren Jordan and Emily.
